Privacy Policy
What this app is
home.shumvis.me is a private household task manager used by two people in the same household. It is not a public service and does not accept outside registrations.
Information collected
- Account information: email address and display name, used to identify household members.
- Phone number: optionally stored to deliver SMS task notifications via Twilio.
- Task content: text entered when creating or editing tasks, stored in a private database.
How information is used
All data is used solely to operate the household task system — assigning tasks, tracking completion, and sending reminders to household members. No data is used for advertising or analytics.
SMS messaging
If a phone number is on file, task notifications are sent via Twilio. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
Data sharing
No personal data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties, except as required to deliver the service (Twilio for SMS, Anthropic for optional task-enrichment suggestions). Both are bound by their own privacy policies.
Data storage
Data is stored on a private server hosted at Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU. Automated backups are retained for 7 days.
